County judge orders last November's uncounted ballots to be tabulated (thehamtramckreview.com) — Hamtramck residents will finally get clarity on last year's razor-thin mayoral race after a county judge ordered 37 previously uncounted city ballots to be tallied, potentially changing the winner. The count, expected Oct. 16, could unseat Mayor Adam Alharbi in favor of challenger Muhith Mahmood, while taxpayers are already on the hook for over $130,000 in Alharbi's legal fees.
