One Killed in North Side Crash (whtc.com) — A serious crash on Holland's north side Tuesday evening killed a 62-year-old Holland woman and injured three other Holland residents, including a one-year-old boy. Ottawa County deputies say a speeding SUV on Butternut Drive hit a Jeep turning onto James Street, and investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the Sheriff's Office or Silent Observer.

Former Holland judge sentenced to fines after throwing items from bench at defendant (mlive.com) — A former Holland judge has been ordered to pay fines and costs after admitting he threw self-inking stamps from the bench at a disruptive defendant during a February landlord-tenant hearing. The Muskegon sentencing follows earlier scrutiny over a prior domestic violence case and a state Supreme Court order that led to his early retirement from the 58th District Court.
