• Bicyclist, 65, killed in West Michigan crash late Monday night (mlive.com) — A fatal car–bicycle crash late Monday on 129th Avenue in Allegan County drew response from both Wayland and Hopkins fire departments, underscoring safety concerns on rural roads locals share. State police say a 65-year-old Wayland bicyclist died at the scene, and they’re reminding drivers to give cyclists at least three feet of space and for riders to boost visibility at night.
