LCC Foundation has received its largest single gift to date

Anonymous donor funds more than 180 scholarships

The Lansing Community College Foundation recently received its largest single gift from a living donor in its history. The anonymous local business owner donated $272,000 to fund more than 180 scholarships for the upcoming academic year.

The donor is focused on the life-changing power of higher education and on LCC's role in the Lansing community.

With the addition of these scholarships, LCC and the Foundation will offer more than 600 scholarships for the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 academic year.

The scholarship is open to current and future LCC students. The last day to apply is January 31, 2026. To learn more and apply, please visit the website.
