Lansing, MI (corvetteforum.com) — Car lovers in Lansing can head to Shaheen Chevrolet this Sunday, Sept. 20, for the 8th Annual Shaheen Chevrolet Charity Car Show benefiting No Senior Without Christmas. The all-makes show runs 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with $20 display entry, free spectator admission, dozens of awards, food vendors, prizes, and a big-screen TV giveaway.

In a conversation on the 517 Report, he explains current safety measures, offers tips for both drivers and walkers, and previews how Lansing plans to improve and enforce road safety going forward.
   

• Michigan highlights victim address protection program (wlns.com) — From Lansing, the state is spotlighting Michigan's Address Confidentiality Program, which shields the home addresses of victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. Eligible residents can receive a substitute mailing address, mail forwarding, and guidance on voting, schools, and emergency contacts, with more than 800 participants already enrolled statewide.
