• Cause of fire at Dupont-Lapeer Airport still under investigation (sanilacbroadcasting.com) — A Monday evening fire damaged a multi-bay hangar at Dupont-Lapeer Airport in Mayfield Township, but no civilians were hurt and the blaze was controlled in about 30 minutes. Lapeer Fire & Rescue and several neighboring departments responded, one firefighter suffered a non-life-threatening injury, and investigators are still working to determine the cause while thanking motorists who quickly called 9-1-1.
