• 'They're just going too fast': New e-bike rules being discussed in Lowell (fox17online.com) — Lowell officials are weighing new rules for e-bikes after downtown business owners raised safety concerns about fast riders weaving through pedestrians on city sidewalks. At a recent council meeting at Lowell Middle School, leaders discussed age limits, speed caps, and where e-bikes could operate, with violations potentially bringing $100 fines. The draft ordinance will be revised with resident feedback and revisited in October.
