3 LCN Students Arrested in Break-In Near Atwood

Macomb County Sheriff's deputies have arrested three students suspected of breaking into a vacant home on Harrellson Street, near .

A neighbor called police to report the break-in shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday. When sheriff's deputies arrived on the scene, the three boys ran.

Deputies were able to catch and arrest one of the boys at the scene, while the other two were caught and arrested shortly after.

Atwood was put on temporary lockdown as a precautionary measure while deputies continued their search of the area.

The suspects are ninth-graders at LCN and, due to their age, will be dealt with in juvenile court.
