Judge Orders Macomb Devils Diciple to Remain in Jail

Paul Darrah, the alleged national vice president of the Devils Diciples Motorcycle Club, was scheduled to be released on $10,000 unsecured bond.

The Macomb Township man identified by federal prosecutors as the national vice president of the Devils Diciples Motorcycle Club will remain behind bars this week by order of a federal judge, according to the Detroit News.

On Monday, U.S. Magistrate Judge R. Steven Whalen ordered Paul Anthony “Pauli” Darrah, 48, of Macomb, be freed on a $10,000 unsecured bond. U.S. District Judge Robert Cleland reversed this order following an appeal by federal prosecutors arguing Darrah was "a danger to the public and a flight risk," according to the Detroit News.

Darrah was among 41 members of the Devils Diciples Motorcycle Gang identified in an unsealed July 13 in U.S. District Court in Detroit.
