• Oakland County's seizure of horses from Milford company spurs lawsuit (detroitnews.com) — A Milford trail-riding business is suing Oakland County after animal control officers seized 38 of its horses from a West Commerce Road property in August, temporarily shutting down operations. The owner says the herd was healthy, alleges constitutional violations and excessive fees, and claims the county euthanized one horse without notice, while officials cite complaints and a vet who later found poor health in some animals.
