Have you reached your wit’s end with a pet peeve, such as a cat who is tearing up the furniture, or a dog who just can’t resist the food on the countertop? The Michigan Humane Societycan help. MHS’ Behavior Help Line is a free service that can provide answers to your questions about cat or dog behavior, suggestions on resolving basic behavior issues, and recommendations on where to go for help with more complex issues that can't be handled over the phone.
To contact the MHS Behavior Help Line, pet owners can call (248) 650-0127 or visit www.michiganhumane.org/helpline to leave a description of the problem. Within 48 hours of receipt of the message, an MHS behavior associate will be in touch to discuss the problem.
