Novi Educational Foundation Green Gala Tickets Still Available Online, At the Door

There's still time to get your tickets for Saturday's Novi Educational Foundation (NEF) 7th annual Green Gala fundraiser, a night of casino games, dancing, silent auctions and more. 

Register on-line or buy your tickets at the Lyon Oaks County Park on Pontiac Trail in Wixom for the 7 p.m. event. 

With the theme, "Supporting Novi Schools", the gala aims to fund an expansion of NEF's "Leader in Me" program. According to NEF's website, the program, currently in Novi elementary schools, is based on Stephen Covey's Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People.

“The NEF wants all Novi children to become leaders of their own life, have unique talents and make a positive difference in the world. That’s why we support – and want to expand – all the good things about Leader In Me," NEF chairperson Geoff Wood said in a post on the site. 

Green Gala attendees will also be able to purchase one of 100 $10 raffle tickets, for a chance to win a diamond and pearl pendant designed by Aly Krick, a Novi High School student and created by Brian Larson from Larson's Jewelry Design. 

Tickets are $90 and available on the NEF's website or at the door.
