5 Oakland Township-Area Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving
From Bar Louie (yes, it's open) to Ram's Horn, here's where you can go out to eat on Thursday.
If you find yourself looking for an open restaurant on Thanksgiving, here are five places that will welcome you with open arms.
1. in Oakland Township is open from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. The special of the day will be a turkey and cheese omelet in the morning and a roasted turkey Thanksgiving dinner during the day.
2. in Lake Orion, which recently , will be open from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. Reservations are required; call 248-814-9500.

3. is officially open in Rochester Hills. Located in the spot of the former Shield's Pizza, it is described as a "hip neighborhood restaurant and bar" and unofficially opened its eighth Michigan location last week; a grand opening is planned for Dec. 8. On Thanksgiving, Bar Louie will be open from 6 p.m.-2 a.m.
4.will be serving up their delicious donuts and coffee on Thanksgiving morning from 5 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

5. has become a downtown Rochester institution for upscale dining on Thanksgiving. They have hundreds of patrons every year, so reservations are recommended (call 248-651-2266). They will be open from 12:30-6 p.m.
