7th Annual Bocce Palooza

Livonia, Mich.-based The Recovery Project, a provider of aggressive,
focused and effective physical and occupational therapies to people with
traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, and other neurological disorders, is
hosting the 7th annual Bocca Palooza on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 6 – 11 p.m. at
Palazzo di Bocce, 4291 S. Lapeer Rd., Orion, Mich., 48359. All proceeds from
the event will benefit the Mary and Charles A. Parkhill Foundation for Spinal
Cord Rehabilitation.

The signature event will feature the return of the popular Bocce ball
tournament, as well as dinner and drinks. All proceeds will go directly to the
foundation, which in turn donates it those in need of therapy through personal
grants.

“Ongoing physical and occupational therapy is critical to the quality of
life and well-being of people with these life-changing injuries, yet due to
rising health care costs and changing regulations, not everyone can afford the
crucial therapy they need,” said Charles Parkhill, co-CEO of The Recovery
Project and president of the foundation. “Bocce Palooza is a great way for the
local community to have fun and give back, helping make hope and vital therapy
a reality for those in need.”
