In its 13th year, downtown Lake Orion's annual Flower Fair event will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. This event, which takes place in the streets of downtown Lake Orion, kicks off the summer season and provides patrons the opportunity to purchase flower and garden related products as well as art and craft items.
Patrons will also be able to speak with home improvement and backyard goods and service providers and visit our business showcase. Patrons can expect to see a container
gardening contest, speaker series, demonstrations, great food and of course visit the many retail businesses already located in downtown! This event is very much anticipated and supported by the community.
Exhibit area will be divided into the following categories.

Flower Alley - Outdoor 10' x 10' spaces located on the street. This area is for those selling flowers, herbs or flower/gardening related items. This area is limited to those with items for immediate sale.
Art & Craft Blvd. - Outdoor 10' x 10' spaces located on the street. This area is for those selling art and craft related items as well as specialty foods. This area is limited to those with items for immediate sale.

Home Improvement Way - Outdoor 10' x 10' spaces located on the street. This area is for home improvement business wanting to promote and advertise their goods
and or service.
Business Showcase - Outdoor 10' x 10' spaces located on the street. This area is for business wanting to promote and advertise their goods and or service.
Green Thumb Café (Food Service Vendors) -
Outdoor 10' x 10' space located on the street. This area is for businesses selling food for immediate consumption. Drink sales will be solely handled by the Lake Orion DDA and are prohibited by any other food vendor. Drink Sales Stations will be located within the Green Thumb Café.
Applications can be downloaded from the DDA website at www.downtownlakeorion.org. Vendors will be notified their acceptance status within 30 days of applying. Application
deadline is March 31, 2013.
