Helping South Africa From Rochester Hills

Sometimes many of us forget how fortunate we are in the United States.  Now you have a chance to show how you can share some of your good thoughts with very needy young people in Diepdale, South Africa.

Peace Corps Volunteer Tom Fletcher is working very hard in Diepdale, South Africa to help their needy children.  Among their needs are bikes (which are needed for the kids to get to and from school), computers and software (for their studies) and repair parts for an already donated swingset (by Girl Scout Troop 72517 from Woodland Elementary School).

Tom's daughter, Erin Hart, has organized this fundraiser to help her father's efforts and the details are:

         Where: Classic Lanes (2145 Avon Industrial Dr. )

There will be two sessions that day that you can sign up for.  Session A will run from 1 - 4 PMSession B will run from 5 - 8 PM.

Included in the $15 per person cost will be three hours of bowling, shoes, pizza and pop.

The net proceeds from this event will go toward the Children of the Village Diepdale in South Africa c/o Peace Corps Volunteer, Tom Fletcher.
