There are so many good causes which demand our attention. However, when diseases like Leukemia and Lymphoma are mentioned it sends a collective shake among many of us. It seems like everyone has known someone impacted by these serious conditions.
On Sunday, April 14th, Classic Lanes in Rochester Hills will host a fundraiser titled “Sunday Funday” to help raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team in Training from Royal Oak and Stoney Creek. This fundraiser will raise money for the Teams to compete in one of two marathons.

The Nike Women’s Half Marathon in Washington D.C. on April 28th and the Flying Pig Half Marathon/Flying Pig Full Marathon on May 5th will be what these two teams will be participating in. Both events combined will raise $4800 for lifesaving cancer research. This fun event, at Classic, will offer you a chance to be part of the solution and have a blast while you are doing it. These teams train for months for their marathons so we hope you can join them for 3 hours to show your support. If you can’t be there, please consider making a donation to their cause.
