Are You Ready to Run for a Cause?

With the help of Orion Township and the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, Sister Souls is hosting a 5K on Saturday.

Sister Souls, Inc. is a Lake Orion based nonprofit organization that strives to benefit children in need. The group has set out to raise $100,000 over a 10 month period of time for three Lake Orion children, known as .

Help the nonprofit reach its goal by participating in the , which begins at 9 a.m. Saturday in . Online registration ends at 7 a.m. the day of the race. Registration is $25 for adults and $10 for children 12-years-old and younger. To register for the event visit www.sistersouls-eorg.eventbrite.com. Check-in is scheduled for 8-8:45 a.m. Saturday at the park.
