Area Artists wanted for 14th annual Holiday Market

The Orion Art Center (OAC), a nonprofit community arts organization that has been serving North Oakland County for 35 years, invites artists to be a part of the 14th annual Holiday Market, running from December 10th to December 21st 2014. The Holiday Market will showcase the work of member artists ($35 annual membership fee) with a percentage of sales benefitting the OAC. It is not mandatory for artists to be on sight for the entire show, but those who volunteer for 2 shifts at the market will enjoy higher profits.
The Holiday Market will be held at the OAC Clay Studio, located next to Diamond Dave’s Creative Jewelers building at 424 S. Broadway Street, in downtown Lake Orion. The Holiday Market is a great way to support local artists while finding the perfect holiday gift. All members receive a 10% discount on all items for sale at the holiday market.
Artist set up is on Sunday, December 7th from 3:00 pm-7:00 pm and Monday, December 8th from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. Artists can complete and print the online application and bring it to set up, along with a full inventory list during a first come first serve set up. Grand Opening reception is Wednesday December 10th from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm. The market will be open daily from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday closed Monday 15th, 2014.
