My Inner Craft-aholic
I'm not a big golfer and I'm not the craftiest of people, but I have a BLAST doing both! Come on and read this, and laugh along with me.

This weekend, my friend Sarah is hosting her 3rd Annual Golf Scramble at Heather Highlands Golf Course in Holly, MI, and even though I’m not a great golfer, I still LOVE to go to this event with my team of three buddies from school. And for some unknown reason, this year I decided that it would be a good idea for us to name our team (the Angry Birdies. Oh yes. Be jealous) and make t-shirts. And by us, I mean I though I could make shirts for our team. Ha.
I decided that with less than 4 days until the event, I could go out to JoAnn Fabrics in Auburn Hills, buy four t-shirts, stencils, and t-shirt paint, and whip out four perfectly-stenciled shirts in no time.
Well, yeah, I may have been wrong. It took me 2.5 hours to finish two shirts, and they’re not without mistakes. My back hurts, I got paint EVERYWHERE, and my sticky stencils are no longer sticky. I may be in a little over my head here. But hey–even though I’m complaining, making these shirts has made me feel very productive. And, honestly, I think they’re turning out pretty well! We’re going to be the best looking team out there! Even if we don’t have the best scores. Because (and here's where it gets a little corny) the most IMPORTANT thing is having fun. Yeah, we want to do well, but we're going to laugh just as hard if we end up failing miserably.
