Writer, comic, and mental health activist, Kevin Breel, will appear in Lake Orion on Sunday, February 23, 2014, at a no-cost community forum about mental health, depression, and suicide. The event is being held at Lake Orion High School from 6:30 -8:00 p.m. and is opened to the public.
In addition to hearing Kevin’s journey, attendees will receive valuable information from Oakland County mental health providers and community partners. They will also be given newly developed parent toolkits that help parent identify if their child is in crisis and where to turn for support.
