Join us for a fun afternoon exploring the world of ants! We will begin by meeting at Lost Lake Nature Park where we will examine ants close-up...really, really, close and we will learn a bit about their amazing world. We will then carpool to nearby Bald Mountain where a park ranger will join us on a short hike to observe the amazing ant mounds found there. Back at Lost Lake we will discover the unique habitats of the park that support the ants and then enjoy a picnic among the majestic pines and oaks at the park. Maybe the ants will join us too? Bring a sack lunch, and we will supply a themed treat for dessert!
