The North Oakland Dixieland Band will be performing for the Greater Detroit Jazz Society on Saturday, February 2nd from 1 - 4 PM. The concert will take place at Sheild's of Southfield, 25101 Telegraph Road (At 10 Mile Road), Southfield and of course, the public is invited to attend. The band specializes in performing early American jazz from the early 1900's through 1950. The band performs several Louis Armstrong and other early traditional jazz favorites including many vocals. Sheild's features a special menu for attendees and admission is $10 at the door. Reserve the date and come out and enjoy a great afternoon of music and fun.
