"Michigan in the Civil War" movie by Al and Dave Eicher will be shown.  The movie includes: The Underground Railroad,"Under the Oaks," Sojourner Truth, the John Brown and Frederick Douglas meeting, Gov. Blair's call for troops, the Jackson Grays, George Meade at Caseville, Camp Barker, the formation of units, Fort Wayne, Camp Anderson, Camp Lee, Camp Blair, Michigan Women in the War, Sharpshooters, Michigan Christian Commission, drummer boys, Sutler's tent, George Custer and the Monroe connection, the Singing Company, Battles at Shiloh, Fair Oaks, Antietam, Bull Run, Gettysburg, South Mountain, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Vicksburg and Richmond, Camp Ward, Lee's Surrender, Jefferson Davis capture, President Lincoln and the asassination, Ford's Theater, the Funeral Train, the Grand Parades and the forming of the Grand Army of the Republic.


Pop corn will be served with the movie.
