It's a proven fact that animals help to improve your mood and your overall well-being; in fact, just petting a cat or dog can lower one's blood pressure. This Sunday, June 16th, Paws for Life Rescue and other local organizations will host an adoption event from noon to 4 p.m. at Petco, 4820 S. Baldwin Rd., Lake Orion. Cats, kittens, puppies and dogs will be available to meet and adopt. Adoption fees range from $60-100 and include testing, deworming, vaccinations and spay/neuter.
