First Annual Children's Arts Festival at Oak Arbor School a Great Success
Multiple families enjoyed an afternoon of games and crafts
Oak Arbor School parents, staff and friends hosted their first ever children’s arts festival on Saturday February 20th. Local families were invited to stop in and experience a variety of activities for free, such as face painting, games, story time, arts and crafts, and a puppet show. Guests could wander around and choose which activities to attend, or sit in the foyer and enjoy some hot chocolate and snacks while listening to live music.
School parents, Mike and Kelly Wille, orchestrated this event. “Oak Arbor’s Children’s Festival of Arts showcased a slice of what is amazing about this school. With 14 artistic and entertaining activities to participate in, you couldn’t help but have a great time! The positive feedback we have received means we will definitely be putting this on again next year.” - Mike Wille
Another fun and free event for the community is being planned for next month. An Easter Egg Hunt on the school property on Saturday March 26th. Check the school website or call the number below for more details.
