The Village of Rochester Hills is proud to bring the community a one of a kind event this fall. Fall is one of the hottest times to showcase and reveal fashion trends for the upcoming season but the Village has decided to take it to the next level.
The Fall Fashion Fair 2013 is a fun, forward thinking event that will also be giving back to the community. For every person that registers to receive the Village of Rochester Hills’ e-newsletter at the event, a dollar will be donated to Leader Dogs for the Blind. Several Leader Dogs will be onsite at the event, dressed in their best. Donations will also be accepted at various locations throughout the Village that evening.
“We wanted to take it to the next level and create an atmosphere that was similar to the entertainment streets of Boulder, Colorado and the fashion street of NYC,” said Shelleen McHale, Marketing Director at the Village. “We will have the latest 2014 cars on Village Main Street, entertainers on several of the street corners, food vendors taste-testing as you walk from store to store and great ideas to enhance your home and, of course, fashion wardrobe.”

Fashion shows are common, but creating an evening of strolling and enjoying creativity outside is not something that is common. The Village wants to showcase the beauty of their outdoor lifestyle center, by having guest walk Village Main Street and see all it has to offer. The event is free for the community — there is no cost to participate in any of the activities at the event. However, there will be several places throughout the Village to donate to Leader Dogs for the Blind and the “real” Leader Dogs will be onsite. Mark your calendar for September 12, 2013 from 6 pm to 9 pm.
