Great Lakes Ace Hardware Names Jason Haley As Chief Operating Officer

Farmington Hills, Mich., November 21, 2014 – Great Lakes Ace Hardware announced the hire of Jason Haley as the chief operating officer to oversee the organization’s 47 newly renovated and rebranded stores.

The news comes as the company has completed its transition from ACO Hardware to Great Lakes Ace Hardware. The company is now the largest independent member of the Ace cooperative, carrying nationally-recognized brands such as Craftsman®, Valspar® as well as local Michigan and nice product specific to the markets in which it serves.

As COO, Haley is responsible for ensuring all stores offer the best possible experience for their customers, and makes Great Lakes their first choice in the neighborhood. He will oversee the store operations and merchandising functions of the company.

Haley joins Great Lakes Ace with 13 years experience working for Ace Hardware in various capacities. The Clarkston resident has worked for Ace helping independent retailers grow through his leadership in both store operations and store projects, most recently serving as the national field project manager. He also has an additional 13 years of managerial experience in the hardware industry before joining the Ace team.
