Instagram's Algorithm Announcement
Instagram recently announced they will be slowly instituting an algorithm to help its users view the content they care the most about.
Last week, Instagram announced that they will be slowly rolling out an algorithm to help its 400 million monthly users surface the content they care most about. Much like Facebook, the order of posts will primarily be determined by three things:
Relevance (how invested you are in the content)
Relation (your relationship with the user)
Recency (the timeliness of the photo or video)
