LAKE ORION FARMERS MARKET TO PROVIDE MONTHLY RECYCLING.

Drop off Electronics, Scrap Metal, Almost Anything with a Plug, & Rechargeable Batteries at the Lake Orion Farmers Market starting Wednesday, June 18th from 2pm - 7pm. Then monthly on every third Wednesday of the month until the market closes in the fall. Safe Harbor Recycling is committed to removing the barriers to recycling by providing free recycling to residents and businesses for Hard-to-Recycle items. Not everything is trash, some household items are difficult to recycle and that is why they end up in the landfill.
Hard-to-Recycle items include computers, electronics, bulky metal items, appliances, almost anything with a plug (fee for tube TVs & monitors), and rechargeable batteries(cell phone to car).
The collection site will be near the entrance to the Farmers Market at the corner of Anderson and Front Street, next to the United Methodist Church in beautiful downtown Lake Orion.
Tell your family, friends and neighbors to clean out the basement and garage then let Safe Harbor Recycling tackle the hard to get rid of stuff! Use social media or emails to get the word out and pass on our flyer as well. Please call Patty from Safe Harbor Recycling at 248-240-4899 to schedule a free pick-up of appliances, exercise equipment, BBQ grill or any number of items from our list, from one box to a garage full. Like us on Facebook at Safe Harbor Recycling. Thank you for supporting recycling in your community.
