Life-size, Bronze Sculpture Donated to the Orion Library

Welcome Reception Thurs, Jan 18 @ 7:00p

This event was originally planned for December 13th, 2017, but was postponed due to a snow storm on that evening.

The Orion Township Public Library has anonymously received a second donation of a life-size, one-of-a-kind, bronze sculpture of a little girl carrying a book and school bag. “Read Aloud Gather A Crowd,” created by local sculptor Suzanne Young with the Fine Arts Sculpture Centre, is currently on display in the entrance to the youth area at the library.

“Patrons are welcome to come see this beautiful addition to the library,” said Karen Knox, Orion Library director. “This is such a wonderful way for someone to leave their legacy in the community.”
