Life-size, Bronze Sculpture Donated to the OTPL
Welcome Reception Wednesday, December 13 @ 7:00p
The Orion Township Public Library has anonymously received a second donation of a life-size, one-of-a-kind, bronze sculpture of a little girl carrying a book and school bag. “Read Aloud Gather A Crowd,” created by local sculptor Suzanne Young with the Fine Arts Sculpture Centre, is currently on display in the entrance to the youth area at the library.
“Patrons are welcome to come see this beautiful addition to the library,” said Karen Knox, Orion Library director. “This is such a wonderful way for someone to leave their legacy in the community.”
There will be a Welcome Celebration on Wednesday, December 13 at 7:00p in Meeting Room B at the library to celebrate the new sculpture at the library. All ages are welcome!
