Local Funeral Homes Collect Used Sweaters, Coats and Other Items for Vets

The Modetz Family Funeral Homes are collecting new or gently used sweaters, sweatshirts, warm hats, gloves or mittens to be given to veterans in the VA Hospital and to the homeless veterans at the Michigan Veterans Foundation in Detroit. All sizes for men and women are needed from medium to 3X.

Please bring your donated items to any of our funeral home locations:

Modetz Funeral Home, 100 E. Silverbell Road, Orion Potere-Modetz Funeral Home, 339 Walnut Blvd., and Rochester Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Rd., Waterford.
