Oak Arbor School Hosts Annual Harvest Party
This year's harvest party was celebrated on Halloween day.

“The School parents pulled out all the stops this year to create a wonderful Harvest Celebration for students and staff! Great fun for all!” Nathaniel Brock, head teacher.
“The small size of the school allows the students to really jump in and be a part of making an experience like this come together, and makes rich experiences like this possible for them. In true harvest spirit, they pitched in by making the lanterns, picking apples then baking pies, pressing cider and making the applesauce. They ground the grains and baked the bread and prepared a seasonal poem. The students’ pride in what they were able to bring to the table really shined through. I tell everyone this school is the best kept secret in Oakland county!” Laura Uhlianuk, head of the harvest party volunteer committee and mother of 2 Oak Arbor School students.
