Oakland Township Family in Walk For Miracles
Superheroes invited to Walk for Miracles at Detroit Zoo
Oakland Township residents Kelley and Jamie Janes, along with their sons Logan and twins Aiden and Colton, are gathering family and friends to join them at the Walk for Miracles on June 16. This will be the second consecutive year that the family has participated in this fundraising event for Beaumont Children’s, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
Aiden, 12 –years old, and his family, have benefitted from the programs of the Children’s Miracle Network at Beaumont Children’s. Specifically, the autism spectrum disorder programs at Beaumont Children’s Ted Lindsay Foundation HOPE Center.
When asked why their family is participating in the Walk, Jamie responded:

"Every parent wants to give their child the best chance to succeed in life. Sometimes that chance includes providing expensive medical treatments that may present a huge financial burden to the family. Being able to help raise money for CMN, who in turn can help those families most in need, sounds like the best way I could think of to spend my Father’s Day. "
