On the Agenda: Township Board of Trustees to Discuss Dam Removal

The meeting begins at 7 and is open to the public.

The meets at 7 tonight at Township Hall.

After postponing action earlier this month on an access agreement with the Clinton River Watershed Council to remove the , the board will consider taking action this evening. The board voted 5-1 on Sept. 13 to have the decision tabled while they:

  • Sought out further clarification on the proposed project
  • Considered liability issues to the township and
  • Looked at funding opportunities for the millrace.

No other business is schedule for the meeting, but a manager’s report, attorney’s report and other reports will be presented.
