The national tournament continues through Sunday at the Onyx Arena in Rochester Hills and Suburban Ice Macomb.
The and are to the 2011 Tier 1 Girls’ and Women’s Nationals this year, drawing in hundreds of players and thousands of fans to the area.
The women's nationals were last week; the girls’ Tier I national tournament is ongoing today through Sunday and will draw 48 teams from all over the country to compete in the 12-and-under, 14-and-under, 16-and-under and 19-and-under divisions.
