Prosecutor Educates Lake Orion Community on Dangers of Technology

Cooper has been circulating throughout Oakland County, warning parents and students of legal ramifications of bullying, threats and passing along inappropriate pictures of minors via computer or smartphone. In her presentation, she stressed that parents have the right to monitor their child's use of the computer or phone because, more than likely, the parent is the one paying for the electronic devices. Something else that Cooper emphasized is that once something is sent out into cyberspace, the sender can never get it back.
