'Put It Back On': Wife's Wedding Band Warning
Five years ago, Amanda Tallman sent a humorous warning at her soon-to-be husband. Now the world knows.

When he and his wife, Amanda, tied the knot five years ago, she wanted to make sure it was for keeps.

She added a little insurance with an inscription on the inside of the band she slipped on Daniel’s finger: “Put it back on.”
Fast forward to Tuesday, when Jordan Goddard, Daniel’s lifetime friend groomsman, posted a photo of the ring and its inscription on Reddit, along with a message: “My best friend’s wife had this engraved into his wedding ring. They have an awesome hilarious marriage and this is just a slice of her humor.”

The Internet lit up.
The picture has been viewed more than 1 million times since then.
Daniel Tallman told NBC Chicago that Goddard confessed in a text message that he had posted the picture and that it was going viral.
It’s all good, Tallman said.
“The response has been outrageous, but it’s good to have a happy, fun story in the news,” Tallman told NBC Chicago.
