Section of Indian Lake Road to Close in Orion Twp. Starting Oct. 3

Heads up Orion Township drivers: Indian Lake Road from M-24 east will close for about 500 feet from Oct. 3 to Oct. 17.

The closure will allow workers to make drainage and pavement improvements along the road, according to a release from the Road Commission for Oakland County.

The suggested detour route for through traffic is M-24 (Lapeer Road) to Drahner Road to Barr Road and back to Indian Lake Road and vice versa.
