Summer Reading Kickoff at the Orion Township Public Library

All ages are welcome for the 2015 Library-Wide Summer Reading Club Kickoff at the Orion Township Public Library on Saturday, June 13 from 11:00a to 2:00p. Bring the whole family to register for the Summer Reading Club! There will be outdoor fun with activities, food, live music from the RJ Spangler Jazz Trio and creative projects. All family members can sign up that day or at orionlibrary.org/summer-reading. Everyone is invited to participate in this year’s themes - Every Hero Has a Story (Youth), Unmask (Teen), and Escape the Ordinary (Adult) - by wearing a super hero costume!

In conjunction with the Summer Reading program, local businesses are offering discounts and freebies to customers who show their library card from June 13 through August 22. Visit orionlibrary.org/partners to see a list of participating local businesses. If you do not have a library card, bring your ID and visit the library to get your FREE card!
