Visit Poland at the Orion Library

Friends Passport to Spring: A Visit to Poland is Saturday!

The Friends of the Orion Township Public Library will hold their fifth annual cultural fundraiser on Saturday, April 29, from 7:00p to 10:00p at the library. This year’s event is Passport to Spring: A Visit to Poland.

Come enjoy music and dancing with The Kielbasa Kings, Polish cuisine catered from the Polonia Restaurant in Hamtramck, performances by the St Florian Parish dance troupe, and more! There will be a 17th century Hussar reenactor, classical pianist, Polish art and pottery, a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, cash bar and more.

Tickets are available at the library and online at orionlibrary.org/friends now through Friday, April 28 at 5:00p, at a cost of $35/ticket. There will be no ticket sales on Saturday, but a limited amount of tickets will be available to purchase at the door for $40/ticket. Due to alcohol being served, this is an adult only event. All proceeds support the technology upgrades in the Teen Room at the Orion Township Public Library.
