Week in Review: Man Climbs Mountain for Charity, Blossom Ridge Approved

Here's what's been happening in and around Oakland Township in the past week.

A lot happened in and around Oakland Township this week and we want to make sure you heard about it all, so we picked out some of the highlights from the past week to catch you up:

  • : It’s on to the next planning phase for Moceri Development, which received approval from the Oakland Township Planning Commission on Tuesday to move forward with the .
  • Volunteer efforts: On Tuesday,  in Tanzania at the end of February. He hopes to raise $5,000 for Lighthouse of Oakland County by doing so. 
  • Baking tips: With Valentine's Day approaching, we decided to interview Brooke Wilson, owner of Love & Buttercream in Oakland Township, about baking tips. We posted three articles with easy how-to videos throughout the week: , and how to .
  • Looking ahead:  Feb. 23 with an emphasis on IT and engineering jobs. March 19 in Rochester. The business will be located at 330 South St. and already has about 500 people registered for classes.
