WWI and America Traveling Exhibit

Now through November 10

The WWI and America traveling exhibit is currently on display at the Orion Township Public Library now through November 10. The exhibit consists of panels discussing WWI and its impact on the people of the time, including the political atmosphere before the war, public opinion about entering the war, and the home front.

This exhibit is part of World War I and America, a two-year national initiative of The Library of America presented in partnership with The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, the National World War I Museum and Memorial, and other organizations, with generous support from The National Endowment for the Humanities.

The Orion Library received a grant in 2017 to mark the 100th anniversary of the nation’s entry into the war in 1917.
