Grants help expand digital literacy, promote community service and build youth leadership skills

Seventeen Michigan nonprofit organizations are expanding digital literacy, promoting the importance of community service and helping build tomorrow’s leaders thanks to $323,000 in grants from the Comcast Foundation.
“One of the things that makes Michigan special is the way we pull together to help each other,” Gov. Rick Snyder said. “Comcast is one of the companies in our business community that is committed to service, assisting non-profit groups that give a hand to people across our state.”
“It is a great honor to support these Michigan nonprofit organizations that highlight our long-standing values,” stated Tim Collins, senior vice president for Comcast in Michigan. “Thanks to the tireless and extremely important work of these nonprofit organizations, Michigan is a better place to call home.”
