3 Killed in 6-Vehicle Pileup in Livonia
The crash tied up traffic for several hours; autopsies will be performed pending the notification of relatives.

LIVONIA, MI – Three people died Monday in a six-vehicle pileup at Five Mile and Levan in Livonia Monday afternoon, the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office said.
The names, ages, gender and addresses of the victims were not released, according to a report on hometownlife.com. Autopsies are expected to take place Tuesday after the notification of relatives.
During his invocation at the Livonia City Council study session Monday, council vice president Brandon Kritzman said: We may not know their names, or know them personally, but it’s not too hard to draw parallels of our own.”

“Let us keep in mind the families and loved ones of those involved,” he said. “Keep them in our hearts, in our thoughts and in our prayers.”
The accident was still disrupting traffic Monday evening, according to the report.
