Luna is a very special kitten. She suffered at the hands of the truly heartless. Her little body was starved and ravaged by infection when she came into our care. Her cruel neglect took an awful toll. Luna lost her vision. She could have lost much more.
But Luna is a survivor because of people like you who support the work that the Humane Society of Huron Valley does for our communities pets. Generous donations provided critical medical treatment and surgery for her eyes, a belly full of nourishing food, and a warm bed in a shelter full of truly loving humans who wanted her to live.
Luna is not alone. Every day we encounter new cases of animals who are abused or forgotten and in desperate need of help…and love.
