Canton Color Tour Jazz Series finishes season with headliner Thornetta Davis on Friday, August 23rd

Canton welcomes back Detroit’s favorite multi-talented vocalist Thornetta Davis to the jazz series stage on Friday, August 23rd from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Home Depot at Ford & Lotz in the Orange Block. Thornetta has a strong story-telling delivery that audiences love! Starting in 1987 as a backup singer for “Lamont Zodiac and the Love Signs”, she went solo in 1996 recording “Sunday Morning Music”. The song “Cry” was later featured on the HBO cable series “The Sopranos”. Thornetta has been inducted into the Detroit Music Hall of Fame with over 20 music awards in the past 15 years.
