Canton Dad Tells Son's Mom He's Got a Gun: Police
The two are involved in a custody dispute over 4-month-old child, Canton Township police said.

CANTON, MI – Police said they advised a Canton mom to get a personal protection order after her child’s father reportedly told her he had bought a gun and would be paying a call.

The woman told the Canton Township Public Safety Department on March 17 that she and her 4-month-old son’s father have been arguing over custody, and he wanted to pick up the boy.

That’s when he allegedly made the threat. She told police he had previously threatened to put her “six feet under.”

When police interviewed the man and warned him to stay away, he denied the threats, according to the report.
