Catholic Church Hosts "Welcome Mass" in January

Our Lady of Good Counsel in Plymouth

On Sunday, January 4, at 12 p.m., Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Plymouth will host a “Welcome Mass” for anyone who might be interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith or the Catholic Mass in general.

Father John Riccardo, pastor of Our Lady of Good Counsel, will provide opening remarks explaining what will happen during the mass, and will focus his “homily” on the basic message of the Gospel - the birth, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus.

Everyone is welcome to attend, especially those who have never been to a Catholic church, or who simply want to learn more.

Guests are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes before Mass begins to find a good seat. Attire is casual (jeans are OK), kids are welcome, and refreshments will be available after the service. Mass is expected to last for about an hour.

Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church is located at the corner of Beck Road and North Territorial Road (near Beck and M-14) in Plymouth, Michigan. It is a dynamic and growing Catholic parish which provides all people, in all walks of life, a place to learn about God and grow in their faith.
